THINGS TO KNOW!

Boat slips at the courtesy dock are on a first come basis. They can not be saved by roping off or leaving ropes on the cleats.

Jet Ski slips hold up to 3 jet skies. Share the space.

The discharge of any type of firearm is strictly prohibited on any area of The Ranch with the only exception being the discharge of shotguns at the skeet range.

All trash should be placed in the dumpsters. Please do not leave ANY items outside of the dumpster. It will not be picked up and requires Ranch staff to dispose of it.

Off road vehicles are not allowed on public roads. Local law enforcement will issue tickets (no warnings) if traveling on Park Road 36, FM 2353 or any other public road.
The Ranch is growing and the volume of roadway traffic from homeowners and contractors has increased. Safety is a priority at The Ranch, so please slow down and be observant of others, lookout for golf carts/ATV's. When driving ATV's please maintain Ranch roadway speed limit. Please share this information with your kids.

MEET THE LIFEGUARDS
This summer you will see a rotation of our four amazing lifeguards......Kristen, Emely, Hattie and Klarissa.




Kristen - A sophomore at Texas Tech University majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry and health professions with the goal to be a pediatric physician assistant.
Emely - A senior at Weatherford High School. She participates in soccer and multicultural club and has an interest in being in the Air Force after high school.
Hattie - A senior at Mineral Wells High School. She is a varsity cheerleader captain, FFA officer and shows goats.
Klarissa - A sophomore at Hardin-Simmons University majoring in criminal justice and political science with an interest to one day be involved in politics and law.
A lifeguard is on duty at the pool Friday thru Sunday from 10:00am to 6:00pm. They are available for childcare while you are at the Ranch. Klarissa is certified to teach swim lessons and is available if needed while you are at the lake. Contact the office for availability or questions.
IT'S HERE!
After over a year and a half of the CC&R committee working on the document, meeting with homeowners, listening to their feedback and consulting with experts, the committee has provided to the Ranch Board of Directors a final revision of the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (Ranch Declaration) for The Ranch on Possum Kingdom (The Ranch). The Ranch Board of Directors have unanimously voted to recommend for approval in an upcoming vote of the Ranch homeowners the following document.

The text in ORANGE reflects each of the original amendments into the body of the document.

The text in GREEN represents changes to the document.
THE VOTE is COMING SOON!
The voting process will be electronic (paper ballots available) and administered by Vote HOA Now. There will be additional information provided as to the vote process in the upcoming weeks.
The Ranch Declaration is important to all Ranch homeowners and your investment in The Ranch. It will take 67% of membership to vote in favor of the revised Ranch Declaration.
Your vote is needed and very much appreciated for the revised Ranch Declaration!
For your convenience and use, The Ranch has available a trailer storage area across FM 2353 near The Ranch maintenance barn. There is a minimal monthly fee of $50 or if paid annually a discounted rate of $500.
Please contact the Ranch office for more information or an assigned storage space.
As a reminder, per the CCR's, boats, boat trailers, cargo trailers, jet skis, etc. are not allowed to be visible on your lot.
ARTICLE VIII
8.16: Mobile Homes, Travel Trailers, and Recreational Vehicles:
No boats, boat trailers, motor homes, travel trailers or recreational vehicles shall be parked on or near any Unit to be visible from adjoining property or from public or private thoroughfares at any time.
Please move any items that are in violation of the CCR's to an appropriate location on your lot or to the Ranch trailer storage area.
NEW: EXTENDED SUMMER SECURITY at THE RANCH
Until Saturday, August 31st, there will be additional security provided at The Ranch every Friday and Saturday. There will also be extended security on The Ranch for July 4th. They will be in uniform and patrolling in marked county vehicles.
Regular Ranch Security Hours:
Monday thru Friday - 7:30 to 6:00
Saturday - 10:00 to 5:00
